It started out almost 18 years ago. I started  smoking  game into delicious treats such as jerky, pastrami, salami, sausages, sausage sticks, and more for my own personal use (not to mention making our family homemade sausage, kielbasa, bacon etc.). As friends found out I made these delicious treats they asked me if I would make them some with their game. In a short time word that I made sausages and the like from game traveled big time. My weekends now had to be entirely devoted to sausage making.

One day a customer asked me if it was hard to make sausage and smoked meats, I replied not at all provided you have the right equipment and fresh spices. He then asked me to point him in the right direction to  obtain what he needs to do this himself.

Over about a year I had several others ask how complicated it was to do this at home and where to get the equipment .   As time went on I started noticing more and more people wanting to make sausages at home and customers of mine that had purchased equipment kept coming to me for spices, casings, cures etc when they were in a pinch.

One day while making sausage a light went off in my head.........why not supply quality equipment at affordable prices and fresh spices to my customers wishing to make their own sausage?
